Export Licenses
Export License Procedure Guidance
All body armour with ballistic and fragmentation protection is subject to restrictions for sending outside the UK, so we need to apply for an export license to fulfil international orders. Don't let this deter you, as we fill out most of the paperwork and we can expect to get an export license to the European Union in around 15 days, though it can occasionally take a little longer.
You will be asked to sign an EUU (End User Undertaking) and simple covering letter with basic information such as your name, address, company details (if you are buying on behalf of a company) and where the item(s) you are purchasing will be used. You can see a template for the EUU and covering letter here.
If you are a stockist planning to re-sell the item(s), you will need to provide a Stockist Undertaking (SU) with similar information and, if relevant, further information about what countries and/or customers the items are likely to be transferred to. You can see a template for the SU and covering letter here.
We will help you fill out the undertaking accurately and once you have sent us a scan of the signed undertaking, we can apply for the license and you can post the original to us so we have it in our hands in good time so we can send the goods to you once the license arrives. In the unlikely event that the license is not granted by the UK government, you will receive a full refund. If you have any further queries, please contact us.
